RVTC, which is made up of Rösterei Vier, and The Commange. Two integral parts that identify the Düsseldorf-based roastery. While the roastery's HQ is located on Wallstraße in Düsseldorf, ‘the Commange’ primarily stands for the lodge project in Malawi, which has been working on reforestation, sustainable coffee cultivation in the Ntschisi region and sustainable tourism since 2019.

The connection to music has existed at the roastery since the very beginning. As early as 2016, concerts were organised at various Woyton branches in collaboration with the Open Source Festival, which was taking place in Düsseldorf at the time. This was followed by projects in Malawi, where the company collaborated with the Lake of Stars Festival, the country's largest festival for pop, reggae and electronic music. The collaboration was not only expressed through the participation of artists at the festival, but above all through the Worm Up events that took place before the festival at Cuneco, a café run by RVTC in Malawi's capital Lilongwe. Even then it was broadcast live on Callshop Radio.

Since RVTC and the entire roastery moved to Wallstraße two years ago, they have focussed more on experiencing music within their own venue. RVTC Radio was founded, a project that summarises the roastery's ambitions in terms of music in two words. The first concerts took place, a record with Malawian jazz singer Maggie Kadrum is on its way, and an area for listening to music was installed. The radio corner at RVTC, which resembles a listening bar, fills the entire room with sound from a PA system installed by a small and decent manufacturer New Fidality.

The “Monday Morning Morning” Show, hosted by Kaspar van de Water, was broadcast live on Callshop Radio here for over a year. From April, there will be a slight change of direction in this respect. With ‘RVTC's Midi Music’, the roastery will become a radio station from Monday to Wednesday, 12-14h, broadcasting live on its own site as well as on Callshop Radio. Midi Music is open to everything. With various guests, there is a wide range of genres and interviews for versatile insights into Düsseldorf's music scene. Everyone is cordially invited to listen to the show live during the lunch break, or to tune in from wherever you are. On holiday? On the beach? Still in bed? Or perhaps straight from work. Feel free to tune in!
