Callshop is turning eight years! To mark the occasion, we not only organised a festival following our tradition, but also spent the last year working on a brand new website, which sees the light of day on its eighth birthday. Supported by the Initiative Musik, the site now features numerous new functions and above all, the new categories ‘Pool’ and ‘Words’, which were particularly important to us in order to fulfill our aspirations in community work.

‘Pool’ will be a card index where musicians, producers and artists of all genres can introduce themselves and are able to network. Pool offers an overview of participants and members of Callshop Radios national and international Residencies.

In ‘Words’, on the other hand, we edit content from the Callshop Bubble journalistically and keep the community up to date on all sorts of happenings. There will be reviews of events and the opportunity to announce them. There will be interviews about new projects and insights into niche topics that nobody knew needed to be covered professionally.

We will celebrate our birthday on Friday and Saturday in the Filmwerkstatt, just like last year, and then round off the weekend in the Salon des Amateurs.

In addition, we celebrate our cooperation with Carhartt WIP on Thursday with a new longsleeve as a warm-up before the festival.
