Objet Personnel aims to contextualize emotions and meanings attached to objects in the material world through sonic interpretation via musical arrangement. An object serves as an occasion as well as a basis for most personal expression, with the sonic product being strictly topical to the artist's perception of their own chosen object.

My object is a tiny fully formed pine cone.

Each autumn when the weather starts to get colder I try to go out for a walk to find a tiny pine cone. The small achievement of collecting a little piece of the outside world has a ritualistic effect of warding off the seasonal blues, at least that is the goal. Rumination in the shadowy cold months can lean towards depression or inspiration depending on the day and this hour of audio attempts to collage experiences of early winter days, losing daylight hours to monotonous work, creating warmth and sanctuary and the still ambience of misty mornings.
