Objet Personnel aims to contextualize emotions and meanings attached to objects in the material world through sonic interpretation via musical arrangement. An object serves as an occasion as well as a basis for most personal expression, with the sonic product being strictly topical to the artist's perception of their own chosen object.

My object of choice is my thermal teapot.

Among my collection of different teapots, this one has been my most faithful companion for eight years now.

Beyond other areas of my life, it is deeply connected to music as well: it has served me faithfully during countless listening, digging and deejaying sessions at my place. Furthermore, it has become a staple on my festival packing list—and a true lifesaver for both me and others who enjoyed an unexpected cuppa on the dancefloor or in the listening room at some point.

The ritual of brewing, steeping, and slowly sipping tea is deeply meditative and, in my opinion, pairs perfectly with music—especially when it’s immersive or hypnotic.
