In April I went to a 'Gush collective'-showcase at WP8 where I met UKG legends Matt Flores & Herb LF. Both had huge influence on the german scene and even abroad. Some say their music's the only respected UKG outside the British island. Matt Flores and friends were operating labels like Nordstadt Union, Gush etc. pressing records and bringing them to England where record stores bought their releases desperately. Today he's pushing the Drum & Bass-/2step-/UKG-sound from back in the days by re-releasing previously vinyl-only releases digitally on Bandcamp and hosting label nights in Düsseldorf.

In July Matt came to visit me in the Callshop studio and he brought a wicked selection from his record collection and own productions.
