AssimAssim
AssimAssim is designed for a journey through pulse and shadow, where rhythm becomes architecture and sound is the language of motion. It is not just music, but a passage—an exploration of tension and release, chaos and order, movement and stillness. A ritual for the restless, a map of nocturnal terrains, the show invites listeners to dissolve into rhythm, to travel without moving, to find clarity in repetition and beauty in distortion. About this Episode
AINA is a Berlin-based DJ and emerging artist whose deep connection to electronic music was shaped early on by her father, a former techno DJ. While her club sets are known for their hypnotic, driving energy and emotionally charged vocals, AINA also explores a more introspective and atmospheric dimension of sound — one rooted in stillness, tension, and slow unfolding.
For this special Callshop Leipzig podcast, AINA presents a 1 hour 45 minute mix that drifts into darker, deeper sonic territory. This mix is less about the dancefloor and more about immersion — designed for listening, focusing, or meditating. It reflects her deep appreciation for the atmospheric intros and outros she discovered in the sets of other artists — those fleeting moments of depth and transition that often hold the most emotional weight.
