It was the middle of midsummer when I set off for the edge of the Harz Mountains. Two friends have been organising the small festival "Molmerswende" for friends there for years, in a small garden with a huge meadow, probably the most charming bar and a bungalow in the middle, which is the stage. Besides some other great bands, solo artists and DJs, the band "Klinke" from Halle an der Saale played there. It was Saturday evening, the weather warm and the beer cold when the three of them started playing and filled the garden with pure energy. Everyone
gathered in the front rows, where a crazy atmosphere prevailed and boiled. Klinke played a concert there that gave me great pleasure and still accompanies me in my everyday life. A rich analogue Krautrock with experimental phases that lifts you out of your chair!

"Klinke" are Axel Kores, Mattes Kujath and Christoph Liedtke.

For this issue, they present their new LP "MakiMaki", which is scheduled for release in July 2023, and talk about what makes them as a band.
