Simón Jaramillo Vallejo is a non-binary interdisciplinary artist, cultural manager, and DJ selector from Bogotá, Colombia, currently based between Leipzig and Berlin. As a co-founder of collectives such as Calentura Berlin and Áspora Leipzig, their work navigates the intersections of decoloniality, resistance, and Latin American club culture.
On Callshop Radio, Simón hosts TJR (Tejer), a residency conceived as a sonic weave. It is a space to speak about and listen to music and sounds, not through technical analysis, but from the experience of how we feel them. Through affective listening, TJR intertwines memory, territory, and sound archives to create narratives that traverse the South.
