Philomène Robinne aka Philo proves you don't need decades of experience to understand and push boundaries of a genre. Her originally vinyl-exclusive selection has evolved over time into a digital hybrid to achieve the best possible sound. A regular on UK lineups, Philo played a slot at londons legendary Rupture and moved between festivals such as Fusion, Stone Techno Festival as well as Warning or HÖR in Berlin and Prstr. and Grelle Forelle in her new hometown Vienna.

Characteristics of her eclectic selection always involve UK influences, whether it's between breakbeat, 4-to-the-floor or excursions into the realms of house and techno gems - with a splash of nostalgic 90s sound, while always aimed to tell a story with her sets!

Recently she launched her own UK music oriented party series Chop Shop with her bestie and DJ KLARYOKO at the iconic Pudel Club in Hamburg. In 2021, together with Marie Montexier, AINO and no:elia, she founded the event series Précey, which focuses on female and non-binary artists to push the scene in Cologne.

She also resumed her 'Take a Break' show on Callshop Radio to showcase the variety of her sounds. Not long ago she started producing and released on Nice & Deadly, nonesuch, Stereo45, Defrostatica, Hardcore Energy, Basswerk and Miura Records- more to come soon!
